A life without challenges is what we strive for as a child or a young teenager. But it does not take long for us to arrive at one of the two conclusions: One, with the life’s path smooth as steady water, there is no purpose, neither excitement. Two, life can never reach that stage before death. However, even with the realization and enlightenment to meet the challenges of life head on, holding the positive spirits high in the face of challenges is a challenge in itself and a large part in itself. I would be lying if I said, failures have not toned down my enthusiasm over time, but the key lies in standing up again. Regardless of the extent of our hard work and talent, challenges are built-in throughout the path of our lives. But like knowledge is no power in itself, how we use our skills and direct the efforts in the right direction is what makes the ultimate difference. We all know this philosophy and yet it becomes difficult to not victimize ourselves in the face of adversity. But the only side grass is greener on is beyond the leap that we are just reluctant to take. With the first leap, slowly it dawns upon us, there are more opportunities in life yet to be revealed and more feats yet to be conquered. No wonder, best of advices and philosophies to follow in life lie in hidden in what we call clichés. My favorite one being “Fall down seven times, stand up eight”.
